Clark 10th Grade Students and Parents
It is an exciting time to be a Clark Wildcat! You are a sophomore and you have learned a lot about yourself, your study habits, and your goals. It is time to make choices for your junior year at Plano Senior High School!
The more you prepare for your course choices now, the more time we will have to discuss goals. So, please go to the tabbed page above "Prepare to Register" and look over everything there is to offer at Plano Senior High School. Counselors will spend the month of October going over course options and registration in your Advisory classes. Additional information about courses can be researched in the "Prepare to Register" tab.
Plano Senior High School is conducting a Parent Night Zoom meeting on October 30th from 6:00 - 7:00 pm. This is an opportunity for parents from Clark and Vines to learn more about the course choices for 11th grade and ask their questions directly to the Plano Senior High counselors. To join this meeting, here is the Zoom link: https://planoisd.zoom.us/s/92079868283 Meeting ID: 920 7986 8283 Passcode: 982874
Another great option to help you make choices is to attend the "Calling All Cats" meeting at Plano Senior High School on November 12th from 6:00 - 8:00 pm. This will be a chance to learn all about the courses you want to try at Plano Senior High School.
Counselors will conduct academic conferences with each student in November. These will be one-on-one meetings between the counselor and student to go over classes needed and classes chosen. Families should discuss the choices before this time. If you and your student need to talk more, please reach out to your counselor. We can help you through this process and are happy to answer all of your questions.
If you miss the October 30th meeting or you want to view any missed presentations (as a parent/guardian), please go to the Videos and Links tab above for a copy of the presentation recording and/or slide show.
