Read and Bid Auction Exchange 2026
On February 3-4, the Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) hosted the book donation drive and auction exchange fundraiser at the Knowledge Center (KC) at Philippine International School-Qatar (PISQ). This initiative was open to students in grades 4-12 with a goal to increase creativity, imagination, and critical thinking among students through the power of reading! The timings were as follows:
Intermediate Department: February 3, 2026 (7:30 AM-8:30 AM)
Junior High School Department: February 4, 2026 (7:30 AM-8:30 AM)
Senior High School Department: February 4, 2026 (10:00 AM-11:00 AM)
Book Fair Celebration
On February 1-5, 2026, the Book Fair Week 2026 commenced in the Philippine International School-Qatar (PISQ) at the main covered court. The Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) led the opening program, costume parade, and assembly in order to empower learners to showcase their talents and skills through performances and the art of costume crafting.
DEAP x SSLG Dessert Cleanup Drive
On January 29, 2026, the second day of the environmental awareness campaign of the Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) and DEAP Qatar (Doha Environmental Actions Project), Conservation commenced as the Grades 7-12 students participated in the 578th Singing Sand Dunes clean-up drive. In total, 120 kilos of trash were collected, reinforcing the importance of environmental preservation in Qatar.
International Reducing C02 Emissions Seminar
On January 28, 2026, the Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG), in collaboration with DEAP Qatar (Doha Environmental Actions Project) Conservation, held a seminar on the importance of environmental responsibility, leadership, and action. Mr. Jose Saucedo, DEAP’s director, spoke directly to the Grade 10 students about reducing waste and pollution, ensuring that all students were knowledgeable about its impact on nature.
Unity in Celebration: Qatar National Day 2025
In collaboration with the Visionary and the 3CS Department, the Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) showcased the importance of culture and tradition within Qatar through a short AVP video.

Unity in Celebration: Qatar National Day 2025
PISQ marked Qatar National Day 2025 on December 17, 2025, through the program Unity in Celebration, led by the Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) with the support of the 3CS Department and SELG, promoting unity, culture, and patriotism. The celebration featured engaging activities and performances that brought students together to honor the nation’s heritage.
Cultural Fun with a Cause: SSLG’s Henna Booth at QND
As part of the Qatar National Day festivities on December 17, 2025, SSLG hosted a henna booth for Junior High school students, combining cultural fun with a fundraising initiative. The activity allowed students to enjoy traditional henna art while supporting the QND celebration.
SSLG & SELG Impact Fundraiser 2025
On November 26, 2025, the Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG), in collaboration with the Supreme Elementary Learner Government (SELG), held a school impact fundraiser. The activity aimed to support meaningful initiatives while encouraging unity and active participation among students.
SSLG & A.C.E Sports Club Patrolling
From November 25–27, 2025, the Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG), together with the A.C.E. Sports Club, aided in the Parade of Banners during the Opening Celebration of the 25th Founding Anniversary. Their participation helped ensure an organized and successful event through active student involvement and cooperation.
Foundation Day: Student-Led Initiatives
On November 26, 2025, the Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) spearheaded the various student booths led by other student organizations in PISQ, including the Visionary, A.C.E Sports, ELLIT, Hiraya, Sigma Prime, Scholars Society (Research and Robotics Club), A.S.T.R.A, Club Conquistador, PAG (Performing Arts Club), Lifeline, and Likha.
Teachers Day Tribute Video
This appreciation video, entitled “Sa Aming mga Guro,” was created in collaboration with PISQ’s multimedia club, The Visionary. It showcases the significance of teachers not only in education but also in various aspects of life.

World Teacher's Day
Held on October 5, 2025, to honor and celebrate the dedication of teachers at PISQ. Students express appreciation through performances, personalized messages, and small tokens of gratitude, fostering a sense of community and respect for educators.
Filipino-Qatari Cultural Heritage Exchange Day
Held on September 28, 2025, to celebrate the rich cultural heritage of Filipino and Qatari communities, students engaged in activities, performances, and displays that promote cultural awareness, pride, and unity within the school community. The event provided an opportunity for students to learn and strengthen cross-cultural understanding.
Induction of Newly Elected SSLG Officers
On September 25, 2025, the Induction and Oath Taking Ceremony was held to officially induct the newly elected student leaders of the SSLG for the academic year. This ceremony affirms their commitment to serve the student body, uphold integrity, and lead school initiatives responsibly.

Induction and Oath Taking Ceremony of Club Officers
Held on October 23, 2025, to formally induct student club officers and instill a sense of responsibility, leadership, and teamwork in managing their respective clubs and activities throughout the school year.
Weekly Morning Assembly
Conduct weekly assemblies together with the SELG to share school announcements, recognize student achievements, present ongoing projects, discuss news in Qatar and the Philippines, and strengthen school spirit among students and staff.
