The following are the Properties of Multiplication
a. Identity Property of Multiplication states that in multiplying any number by 1, the product is the number itself.
b. Zero Property of Multiplication states that in multiplying any number by 0, the product is 0.
c. Order Property or Commutative Property of Multiplication states that changing the order of the factor does not affect the product.
d. Grouping Property or Associative Property of Multiplication states that changing the grouping of the factors does not affect the product.
e. Distributive Property of Multiplication one factor can be expressed into an addition expression involving lesser numbers. The other factor is multiplied by each term of this addition expression and the sum of the product is the final product.
