The Multimodal Lab is an inclusive, innovative, culturally-responsive place where students can drop in to study, recharge, create projects and presentations, and get academic support across disciplines from our caring Collaborative Learning Assistants (CLAs), Tutors, Lab Teaching Assistant, and Faculty Leads. Our CLAs and tutors help students understand and design class assignments, presentations, and projects, including multimodal projects.
Enjoy our lab spaces to study, recharge, and gather between classes. Also check out our reading room (The Loaf) with poetry books and comics.
Come by for friendly help from our Collaborative Learning Assistants with any of your humanities classes. We specialize in English and Communication classes. Click here for the Communication Tutoring Schedule (accessible with your SBCC pipeline account).

Drop in or reserve one of our taping rooms or quiret room. Each is equipped with a Flatscreen TV, Zoom camera and computer station, and table and chairs. Ideal for group work.
