Our class is graded based on:
homework and preparation (40%)
discussions, groupwork and audio/video submissions (40%)
assessments (20%)
Ask about and describe people and places
Describe and ask about what is happening and our daily routines.
Use English vocabulary to talk about calendars, days, months, time.
Listen to and understand a basic conversation and put information in order
In our class, we respect every student and listen to all opinions, ideas and experiences.

The Luria Library at SBCC has many Chromebooks for SBCC students to use.
Students who are registered for classes can borrow a computer from the Luria Library at SBCC.
Students can borrow a Chromebook for the rest of the semester. Each student can borrow one chromebook.
To receive a Chromebook, go to the Luria Library with your K# (student identification number) and any form of photo identification. You need to wear a mask and social distance.
Here is a map to the location where computers are distributed.
To check out a Chromebook or WiFi Hotspot, contact the ESL Office at (805) 699-6618. They will help you.

Los estudiantes actualmente inscritos pueden pedir prestado uno en la biblioteca Luria de SBCC.

Accommodations for Students with Disabilities:
Disability Services and Programs for Students (DSPS) coordinates all academic accommodations for students with documented disabilities at Santa Barbara City College.
