What is English 110E?
English 110E is an alternative to English 110, designed for students who would like extra support within a writing community.
In both Eng. 110 and 110E, students learn:
How to write and revise thoughtfully
How to read and think critically
How to conduct research responsibly
Both Eng. 110 and 110E:
Are 4-unit courses
Satisfy the freshman English transfer requirement
Eng. 110E also offers these "enhanced" benefits:
The opportunity to join a community of writers in a twice-a-week workshop
Extra time to do your work in the writing workshop
Extra support from your instructor, a class tutor, and your classmates in the workshop
