BNI Clients
DRAFT:
Hi
I hope this email finds you well.
As a fellow BNI member who specialises in managing local businesses in the trades industry, I wanted to personally reach out to you on behalf of Pinpoint Local.
We have an exciting proposal to enhance your business's online presence through Google Business Profile (GBP) management.
At Pinpoint Local, we believe in providing exclusive attention to our clients, ensuring that we manage only one business per geographical area.
This way, you can rest assured that you won't be competing with other businesses we work with.
So, let's dive into what a Google Business Profile can do for your business:
First off, having a Google Business Profile puts your business right on the front page of Google. It's like having a snapshot of your business that's easily accessible to potential customers.
With a Google Business Profile, people can easily find services and businesses near their location. This is a game-changer in helping your business get discovered by those who need your services the most.
Your Google Business Profile includes a map, making it super convenient for people to find important information about your business, such as your location or area, website, phone number, and hours of operation.
Speaking of convenience, potential customers searching for your business can quickly get all the essential information they need through your GBP listing. It's all about making a great first impression and giving them the confidence to choose your business.
I'd love to chat with you more about how an optimised Google Business Profile can generate leads for your local business.
We can schedule a Zoom call at your convenience, where I can walk you through the steps we take to ensure you get the best possible return from your GBP profile.
Please let me know when you're available, and we'll set up a time that works for both of us. If you have any questions in the meantime, feel free to reach out. I'm here to help!
Looking forward to speaking with you soon and helping your business thrive on Google!
Business Visibility on Google Maps: Ranking Factors
When conducting a search for a local business, Google often displays a "Local Pack" of results, which are pulled from GBP listings.
There are several factors that can affect how a business appears in Google Maps search results.
Here are the several factors as to why other business are showing before yours on Google Map:
Relevance: Google uses a variety of signals to determine how relevant a business is to a particular search query. This can include factors like the business's name, address, and phone number, as well as the relevance of its website, reviews, and other information.
Distance: Google prioritizes businesses that are closer to the location from which the search is performed.
Prominence: Google also takes into account a business's "prominence", which can be based on factors such as the number and quality of reviews, the number of website visits, and the overall popularity of the business.
Consistency: Having consistent information across the web and local directories will help Google to understand that your business is legitimate and trustworthy.
NAP (Name, Address, Phone Number) Consistency: Having consistent information for your business Name, Address, Phone Number across different directories and platforms.
If you need to zoom in on Google Maps before you see your business, it may be because your business is not prominently visible at the default zoom level. There are a few reasons why this might be the case:
Limited reviews: Google also takes into account the number and quality of reviews for a business. The more reviews a business has, and the better those reviews are, the more likely it is to be prominently displayed on Google Maps.
Limited photos: Photos can also help you to be more visible in Google Maps, they allow customers to understand what they can expect when they visit your business.
Limited information on Google Business Profile page: Incomplete or missing information on your Google Business Profile page can also make it less visible in the maps results.
The business's location is not correctly marked: Make sure that the location of your business is marked correctly on Google Maps. If the location is incorrect, it may be difficult for users to find your business when searching for it.
By keeping these factors in mind and constantly optimizing your information, you can help to increase your business's visibility in Google Maps and appear before other business listings in the same area.
However, it's important to note that the search results will be based on the specific search query, the user's location, the time of the query, so the results can change
It's also important to note that Google may change its algorithms over time and these ranking factors can also change over time.
Clients - Drop Off
Hi
We hope this email finds you well.
As your trusted marketing agency, we wanted to have an honest conversation about your current ranking situation.
We value our partnership, and we believe in transparency, so we want to provide you with insights that can help steer your online presence in the right direction.
After thorough analysis and careful consideration of your GBP performance, it appears that achieving significant improvement in your local rankings might be quite challenging.
This is not a reflection of any shortcomings on your part or our efforts. Instead, it indicates that your area of business is highly competitive, making it tougher to stand out among the fierce competition.
In such a saturated market, it's crucial for us to reassess our strategy and consider alternative approaches to maximize your local online potential for success.
Here are is a strategy that we recommend doing to maintain your Google Business Profile:
Review Management: Encourage your satisfied customers to leave positive reviews on your GBP listing. Authentic and positive reviews can significantly impact your overall reputation and attract more potential customers.
Continuously updating fresh content and relevant images on a daily basis.
If you have any questions or concerns, don't hesitate to reach out and we'll schedule a time to connect and delve deeper into this.
Facebook Review for PPL
Subject: From Google to Facebook: Help Us Build Trust on Two Platforms with One Review!
Hi,
Did you know Google Business Profile also shows Facebook Reviews ?
Google crawls across the internet & across all social platforms. Having reviews in several digital places will strengthen Google's trust in your business.
"Trustworthiness" is a critical ranking factor for your GBP.
So, how to get Facebook reviews to show on Google?
Google’s algorithm needs to find a connection (link) between your Facebook Page & your Google Business Profile.
Once Google has made this link, any new FB reviews that you get will also appear on your Google Business Profile.
An active FaceBook Page with reviews helps to provide this connection. Simple: post consistently & get reviews consistently.
PS Is your FB Page a ghost town?
If so, contact us.
Pinpoint Local can repurpose your GBP content across to FB.
AT NO EXTRA COST - all part of your GBP Monthly Management.
Pinpoint Local has 48 Google reviews, but NO Facebook reviews.
So we are following our own advice & strategy - and we are currently focusing on gathering Facebook reviews.
PS AND OF COURSE WE STRONGLY RECOMMEND OUR CLIENTS FOLLOW THIS EXAMPLE , & INCREASE YOUR FB REVIEWS AS WELL.
We would appreciate it if you could take a few moments to leave us a review on our Facebook page !
To leave a review, simply follow these steps:
Visit our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/pinpoint local business
Click on the "Reviews" section of the page.
Tap "Yes" upon Page Recommendation pop up.
Select a rating and leave a written review.

Holiday Hours Update
Hi,
Hope you're having a fantastic week so far!
We just wanted to touch base with you regarding the upcoming holiday: the King's Birthday on 12th June (Monday).
We were wondering if your business will be closed for the occasion or if there are any modified hours during this holiday.
It would be awesome if you could give us a heads-up as soon as possible, so we can make sure to update your business hours accordingly.
We want to make sure our information about your availability is up-to-date and accurate.
Thanks heaps! We'd appreciate your prompt response.
Instagram Access
Hi
With the Meta Business Suite update, in order for us to efficiently manage your Instagram page, it's essential that your Facebook Business page is connected to your Instagram page.
Don't worry, we're here to guide you through the process and make it as seamless as possible.
There are two options available for connecting your Instagram page to your Facebook page so that we can effectively manage it:
Providing us with access to your Instagram page (including the username and password). This will allow us to connect the pages on your behalf and streamline the management process.
Alternatively, you can connect both accounts through Meta Business Suite on your own. Once that's done, you can assign us a Page role from there. To assist you with this, we'll be sending detailed instructions on how to assign a page role once you've successfully connected both your Instagram and Facebook business pages.
We understand that each option has its own merits, so we'd like to know which one works best for you.
Please let us know your preference, and we'll proceed accordingly.
We look forward to your response. Thanks!

Reinstatement - YT Channel Termination
Note: Should be 1000 characters only
We are a Melbourne-based digital marketing agency. Our YouTube channel was terminated (perhaps when we created multiple channels in a short span of time, triggering the anti-spam algorithm) and we are seeking assistance in reinstating our terminated YouTube channel. The terminated channel belonged to (Business Name), a (Business Category) owned by (Business Owner), located in (Business Address), Melbourne with the phone number (Phone Number) and with verified Google Business Profile with reviews.
Our video showcased bathroom accessories, emphasizing the importance of visual representation for local businesses. We received no copyright warnings, so we're puzzled by the "Spam, scams, or commercially deceptive" flag. Our team has always made it a priority to adhere to YouTube's guidelines and regulations. We apologize for any unintentional violations and commit to upholding YouTube's policies.
We kindly request prompt channel reinstatement to continue showcasing local businesses. Thank you for your understanding and support!
Service Offer - YT Channel
Subject: Exciting news! Google has just told us what it wants
Hi
When Google shares information - we listen.
This happened last week at Google IO 2023, which is Google's biggest annual developer event that is always packed with the latest announcements.
Of course, as to be expected, Google talked alot about AI.
AND THEN...... Google mentioned VIDEO !
Google is encouraging video. (in case you don't know, Google owns YT)
Especially short 30 sec videos.
Here at Pinpoint Local we are already testing several Clients with Video & Youtube Channels.
We are consistently seeing these videos being pulled across from YT to Google's Search Page.
In light of these promising results & combined with Google's recent announcement, we've decided to offer a new service - Create and Manage Clients' Youtube Channels.
VERY FEW OF YOUR COMPETITORS ARE DOING THIS.
And in competitive markets, video adds an extra SEO layer .
Don't worry, you don't need to be in front of the camera
Local business videos are not about "lights, action" videos. This is not what we mean.
With the help of Canva, we create quick slideshow videos, insert your Logo, Contact Details & Keywords etc etc . We then optimise each video and your YT Channel by providing SEO tactics.
HOWEVER if you want to take quick video of your projects - just use your mobile phone.
Add voice over saying:
i.e: "another great job [blocked drain, switchboard etc etc] by the Best Electrician/Plumber etc etc [in Location]
THEN GO FOR IT !
DETAILS:
Here's the best part for our existing clients: no extra charge. (New Clients will be different !)
We're planning to roll this service out to all Clients, those who do not already have a YT Channel, over the next month.
If you're as excited about this opportunity as we are, there's nothing you need to do – we'll get started right away!
However, if you're not interested in this new service, we completely understand.
Just reply to this email to let us know, and we won't include you in the rollout.
We're thrilled about the potential benefits video & YT can bring to your business.
An exciting new way to showcase your business and improve your Google ranking!
