Week 8 Homework Packet
The packet includes literacy pages identifying the beginning sounds in words and blending the sounds to read the word. It also inlcudes math pages for counting the numbers 8 and 9 as well as making the numbers 8 and 9 using different number pairs (1+7, 2+6, 3+5, 4+4.......1+8, 2+7, 3+6, 4+5).
ALL HOMEWORK IS DUE BY FRIDAY!!
One of the greatest gifts you can give your child is the love of reading! Please spend at least 10 minutes each evening reading to or with your child. A few weeks into the school year, your child will begin bringing home a Red Reading Folder with books that match their current reading level. Reading these books at home helps build confidence, improve fluency, and celebrate your child's growth as a reader. Please help your child take good care of their books and remember to return them each week so they can read with me, earn a reward, and receive a new book.
