Dear Families,
We are now in Week 3 of the school year, and our class is settling into routines and expectations. Students are working hard on building their skills in reading and math (and social learning). We are also practicing independence and teamwork every day. Our Math Classes are off and running. Over the next week or so, I will email parents individually with student login information if you would like to access this information at home.
Thank you for your continued support at home—it makes a big difference in your child’s progress. Please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or concerns. I'm excited to watch each child SOAR this year!

Hello Middle School Readers,
This week, we will continue reading The Prince and the Pauper by Mark Twain. Students will be working through Chapters 6–8 as we explore the very different lives of the prince and the pauper. We are focusing on building comprehension and making connections as we read together.
Fun Fact:
The real King Edward VI, who inspired the prince in the story, became king when he was only 9 years old.
Here’s your weekly dose of inspiration! Each week includes a quote and a small challenge for students to complete. Please reply to me with your thoughts, experiences, or answers.
