I look forward to seeing all swimmers on the pool deck tomorrow, November 1, at 6:00pm for our FIRST PRACTICE of the season!
Below are some friendly reminders as we begin practice this week:
Parents are not permitted on the pool deck during practice. Once you enter the lobby of the YMCA, turn left and you will see a large window with viewer access on the deep-end side of the pool. Parents are welcome to bring a chair to sit in that hallway during practices, or stand and watch if they would like to do so.
I will be using the BLOOMZ App this season to keep in touch with all families of last-minute reminders, practice cancellations, miscellaneous details, etc. This will be the BEST way to stay in the know and the fastest way to reach me throughout the day! Please take a look at the directions attached below to join if you have not done so already.
All practices will take place from 6:00-7:00pm at the Dover YMCA on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, unless otherwise noted.
All swimmers are encouraged to be ready and on the pool deck by 5:50pm so ensure that they are prepared to hit the pool promptly at 6:00.
All swimmers are expected to have the following on the pool deck throughout practice: mesh equipment bag with kickboard & pull buoy inside, team swim cap, goggles and water bottle. Please use a Sharpie marker to write your name on your kickboard and pullbuoy, backpack, water bottle, etc.
ALL swimmers are expected to bring a water bottle to every practice. It is imperative that swimmers stay hydrated throughout practice, so a large water bottle is encouraged!
Swimmers are not required to wear their team suit for practices but are encouraged to do so.
Please let me know if you have any questions. See you at the pool!
GO EAGLES!
