APUSH 

Hi there, 

I'm delighted you've chosen to take APUSH!  From the outset, I'd like to let you know that this is a fast-paced, college-level course and will require a considerable investment in time and effort.  We have only one quarter to complete the material required by the College Board. Remember, you're here because you wanted a challenge.   APUSH is a rigorous course that culminates in the AP Exam. 

Textbooks will be issued on the first day of class. You will be responsible for bringing your textbook, a pen, and a notebook to every lesson.

Every Friday there will be an APUSH written quiz in addition to regular class and or homework.  There will also be substantial daily reading and writing. It is demanding, but the skills you develop will make the effort worthwhile when you reach college.
