As we move into the second quarter, I will be working with students on reading and/or math. I will meet with students multiple times a week for about 5 minutes to give them targeted, confidence-building practice that bridges classroom learning with core grade-level milestones. 

Reading Focus:

Vocabulary & Multisyllabic Words: Breaking down unfamiliar academic and prefix/suffix heavy words independently 

Fluency: Building reading speed and accuracy to support overall comprehension

Comprehension: Recalling details from texts and interpreting meaning 


Math Focus:

Fact Fluency: Building automatic recall of multiplication and division facts to free up working memory. 

Problem-Solving: Developing strategies to unpack and solve multi-step word problems.
