Spelling Classwork: Unit 20
Practice Work: Unit 20 Letterland Student List A, Tricky Words, and 2 Sentences
Test: 2/27/2026
Spelling Home Practice Work: Students will practice their spelling sounds and new words in the classroom daily. Quizzes will be given on Wednesday for a weekly word sort. Tests will be on Friday or the last school day of the week. Students will practice sight word spelling words at home. Students may turn in spelling homework practice packets completed on Friday in exchange for a prize. Practice work will not be taken as a grade but will help with their spelling words.
Keep the current week's spelling list in the sheet protector in your student's homework folder (they refer to it in class).

Quiz - 2/27/2026
Math Home Practice Work: Students will have two iReady Math Workbooks for their second grade year, a "Blue" Classwork Book and a "Green" Homework Book. Students will keep the green book in their backpacks or home for practicing new math concepts introduced in class weekly. Students that choose to complete the assigned practice pages for the week will turn in their work the last day of the week in exchange for a prize. Practice work will not be taken as a grade but will help students with new math concepts we are learning in class.
