Hey Y'all!

My name is Meaggan Richard and I am thrilled to be teaching you this year! I am a Gaston County native, but I now call Shelby home with my sweet husband and 2 dogs! I graduated from The University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a B.S. in Psychology and a minor in Theatre Arts. 

I love music, and had the honor of being the interim K-5 Music Teacher in 2022 here at PCA! I have also had the incredible opportunity of completing two internships at Disney World in Orlando, Florida. This is my second full year teaching and I am excited and ready to grow with you. Together, I know we are going to do great things!

Some of my favorite hobbies are reading, crafting, kayaking, camping and spending time with my family. I also love all things Dolly Parton and Elvis!
