Hi! My name is Amy Matheson, and I am from Shelby, North Carolina. I graduated high school from Pinnacle, where I attended school starting in 3rd grade. I recently graduated with my bachelors degree in Elementary Education from North Greenville University. I student taught at Chesnee Elementary and am so excited to teach here at Pinnacle! I enjoy cultivating a love of learning in my students and promote critical thinking in my classroom.

My husband (Nathan) and I love to travel together. One of our favorite vacation spots in St. Augustine, Florida! Nathan is a student pastor at a local church and I love to serve the youth alongside him. In my free time, I like to crochet, read, and watch movies.
