"The Care Closet" is located in my classroom and provides students with anything they might need to feel successful during the school day. Below are items that I try to keep stocked in the room. What is a "Care Closet"?

It is in my classroom, providing a safe place for students to get something they might need.

-Forget breakfast? You can grab a bar.  

-Forget lunch? You can grab a microwavable meal.

-Run out of the house without...deodorant? Brushing your teeth? Brushing your hair?

-Or if something unexpected happened and you need... Chapstick? Floss? A pad? A hair tie?

This area isn't because families can't provide these items but because a student or family may be running late one morning or have forgotten something at home, and the student needs one today.
