This week we are working on:
Reading: Reading Mastery-Book A (We will hopefully have online access to student readers soon so parents can see the stories!)
During our lessons, students are working on decoding words, accurately tracking text, fluency, and comprehension. This week, we will work on the following spelling patterns: -er, -ing, -ed, -est, -ly, -ful, -ness, -ack, -ock, -uck, -eck, -ick, the prefix re, eigh making the long a sound, ea making the long e sound, -y, -ou, and reading vocabulary: escape, stationed, measure, weight.
Math: Unit 1 Review
Domain: Early Asian Civilizations (Read alouds for social studies and student readers for science are linked on my webpage...click on "more," "resources," and then click the "CKLA" link)
Writing: Handwriting, Grammar (plural nouns and collective nouns), "The Story Of My Name" assignment

If you are new and have not created an account you will need to contact Audrey Deaton. From there you will need to enter an access code.
