About Me

• I have been teaching Math for the past 23 years at Kings Mountain Middle School.

•  Before teaching, I worked in banking for 10 years. 

• I am a former Teacher of the Year (2019 - 2020) from Kings Mountain Middle School. I have also been recognized as a Distinguished Teacher by Cleveland County Schools.

• I have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Gardner Webb University. 

• I have been married to my husband for 33 years. He was a military officer when we met so we moved to various locations in the United States and even lived in Germany.

•  I have a son that has recently become a math teacher as well.

• I love gardening, cooking, spending time with my family and my chocolate labrador retriever.
