Announcements

What are we learning this week: 11/17-11/21

• Reading-  We will finish our novel study on Alice in Wonderland & Through the Looking-Glass this week. Students are being tested on text structure of dramas, stories, and poems (all of which occur in this novel!). Students have also been able to identify point of view (1st, 2nd, 3rd) and have been making connections on how point of view differs from narrator, characters, and themselves. We will finish off the novel study by watching the original Disney movie released in 1951 and compare the similarities/differences between the novel and the movie!

• Math-  Students will begin to understand area and perimeter and how the two are related. 

• Science/Social Studies- We have began our beloved Vikings Unit!
