Week of November 24th-November 25th

Math: Review of addition and subtraction in numbers 1-10.

Domain: Students will continue learning about Early World Civilizations. Students will learn about the religion Islam. The assessment will be Monday, December 1st.

Writing: Our Assessment on Singular and Plural Nouns will be on Nov. 18th. Students will then begin learning about personal, possessive, and indefinite pronouns.
(examples: I, me, my; they, them, their, anyone, everything). Our Assessment on Pronouns will be on Tuesday, November 25th.

Letterland:Review of sounds

Reading:This week we will have a level E R.C.P. assessment on Monday, November 24th. We will complete fun Thanksgiving reading activities on Tuesday. Next week we will begin Skills Unit 4.

Important Dates

Nov. 25th- Thanksgiving celebration.
Nov. 26th, 27th, 28th - Thanksgiving Break/No School
Dec. 1st - Last Day for the Talent Show Auditions
Dec. 5th- Early dismissal- 11:30

Reminders

-Parent Volunteers- MUST have a background check on file and pay the $10 fee

-Please have your student ready to exit the car when you pull up to the unloading area each morning. This will help keep the line moving.

- Please have a re-fillable water bottle for your child each day. I can label it if needed.

- Check your child's black homework/communication folder daily. This will have their homework in it each night.
