Week of January 6th-9th

Math: Students will begin to understand sums greater than 10 . Lesson quiz will be on Friday, January 5th.

Domain: Listening and Learning: Students will continue to learn about Early American Civilizations. They will learn about the Aztec.

Writing: Students will continue Personal Narrative writing. Students will now be adding more detail to story events that include a beginning, middle and end.

Our assessment day for Personal Narratives will be on Wednesday, January 28th.

Letterland: Unit 19:Students will review ee They use Magic e with Mr. e Spelling Test is January 9th.

Reading: Skills Unit 4: This week students will continue to practice identifying verb tense, reading two syllable words, and using adjectives. We will continue to read stories and answer comprehension questions from our Unit 4 Reader: The Green Fern Zoo.

Jan. 8th - Report Cards go Home
Jan. 19th - No School

Reminders

-Parent Volunteers- MUST have a background check on file and pay the $10 fee

-Please have your student ready to exit the car when you pull up to the unloading area each morning. This will help keep the line moving.

- Please have a re-fillable water bottle for your child each day. I can label it if needed.

- Check your child's black homework/communication folder daily. This will have their homework in it each night.
