Enrollment for the 2026-27 school year has begun! To enter your child into the lottery, simply submit an initial application- it only takes a couple minutes! The initial application can be found on PCA's website and our social media pages. The lottery will take place in March.
Dress Down Days
Students may wear a college t-shirt or colored awareness shirt with their regular uniform pants/skirts/shorts or jeans. Jeans may not have holes, rips, or tears (regardless of patches or leggings underneath). Uniform shoes must be worn. Students will be required to change if their jeans or shoes are not in compliance with dress down day requirements.
Math - Unit 4: Students will learn about fractions and learn how to find equivalent fractions, compare, add and subtract, and multiply fractions. Students will learn about about decimals and how they relate to fractions.
Reading - Unit 3: Poetry -- The poems we will cover are diverse; some employ precise meter and rhyme schemes, while others use free verse. Uniting them all is their engagement with language and its potential. Students will learn poetry to boost literacy, creativity, and emotional intelligence by exploring language through rhythm, rhyme, and imagery, helping them build critical thinking, express feelings, understand diverse perspectives, and connect with themselves and others in fun, meaningful ways.
Science - Unit 5: Geology -- Students will learn about the theory of plate tectonics and how it explains the presence of volcanoes, mountains, underwater trenches, ridges, and other geological features. Students will also study geological processes like rock formation, weathering, and erosion in order to understand how the earth changes over time and why it looks the way it does.
Writing - Students will learn how to identify parts of speech in text and using descriptive language to describe objects.
