Two Hour Delay - Thursday, January 29
Salvete, omnes discipuli discipulaeque!
Adjustments this week - Quiz on Chapter 17 will be Friday. Roman Empire Map project is due Tuesday of next week (February 3). Test on Chapters 17 and 18 will be February 5. This test will cover the following grammar: relative pronoun; first and second conjugation verbs present system (indicative passive); ablative of personal agent.
The main test section: Passage: grammar and comprehension questions based on a story.
In order to determine if you are ready for the test, ask yourself:
Do I know the relevant Latin vocabulary for the cultural topics; their English translations; and can I explain those terms, including how they were relevant to any discussion we had regarding either Rome or modern America?
Do I know the new grammar charts? These could be verb conjugations, noun declension, or pronoun charts, just to name a few.
On that note, do I know the old grammar charts as well?
Can I identify any new constructions (like indirect questions, or participles) in Latin and can I translate them from Latin to English?

Juniors and Seniors: Latin III Honors is being taught by me this year. This course is highly recommended for students who plan on applying to college, as many colleges recommend or require three years of the same foreign language in high school. There is plenty of space left, so be sure to submit your schedule change request ASAP.
