What's Going on Right nOW

Here is where we will go "LIVE" by posting things that are currently happening in the classroom. We will update the website as frequently as we can to make sure we keep you informed of the exciting things going on in our class. Here is where you will find class photos, current domains, etc.

May 17-21

Core Knowledge Skills:

This week we will be reassessing students on all letters and sounds. Students will also answer comprehension questions about the book Junie B. Jones- “Is a Graduation Girl”.

Listening and Learning:

We will complete Domain 11: Taking Care of the Earth. Please read from pages 365-369 in your copy of What Your Kindergartner Needs to Know, as well as reviewing the information that has been sent home with your child. Our Domain 11 Assessment will be on Tuesday, May 18 th . We will then learn about Presidents & American Symbols.

Ready Math:

Our Unit 5- Numbers to 100 Test will be on Monday, May 17 th . We will begin Unit 6: Measurement. This week students will learn to compare objects by length, height, and weight. Our Unit 6 Measurement Test will be on Monday, May 24 th .
