Indoor Hopscotch

Use tape to make boxes on the floor.

First three boxes (1,2,3) should be in a straight line

Boxes 4 and 5 will be places beside each other

6 will be by itself

7,8 will be in a straight line

Last box is "home base"

How to play:

  • Player 1: Attempts to throw object (ball, sock, paper ball) into box 1 without letting it touch the lines or bounce out of the box.
    • If player 1 successfully tosses the object into box 1 - Player 1 will attempt to complete the course.
    • If player 1 successfully completes the course - Player 1 will toss the object into box 2 - Player 1 skips box 2 and attempts to complete the course again.

Player 2: If player 1 fails to toss the object into the box or fails to hop through the course without foul (touching outside the box or putting two feet down) - Player 2 gets to start their turn

Hot Potato

Make a circle or decide on a shape that best fits the number of players that you have.

Have the group or players start passing the object around until the music stops.

Last player with the object is either out of the game or (modified) has to complete an exercise. Ex: 10 Jumping Jacks

Hot Potato (Skilled)

Make a circle or decide on a shape that best fits the number of players that you have.

Have the group or players start passing the object around until the music stops.

ADDED: While the object is being caught and thrown the player must be off the ground.

If a player drops the object he/she has to complete exercise

If a player catches or throws the object while touching the floor he/she has to complete exercise

Flash Light Tag

Played at Night

The game is a mixture of hide and seek and tag.

The person that is "IT" guards home base armed with a flashlight.

Whoever is "IT" will cover their eyes and count to a number while everyone else hides.

Ready or Not: When the countdown is over the player that is "IT" will use the flashlight to tag players as they try and sneak their way back to home base.

Overall Goal: Make it back to home base before being tagged with the flashlight

Best played in a larger outside area
