On this page I will be posting weekly homework assignments. Homework will be due at the end of the week and will be taken for a grade. Each student is responsible for completing the homework assignments. If there is ever a question on the homework I can be reached through email, the Bloomz app or contact me at the school.

Spelling Homework

I do not have assigned spelling homework. I do have suggestions for practice, but I do not require any specific assignment because I know that students learn in different ways- what may work for one will not work for all. Research says that patterns are the most effective and efficient way to teach regular and predictable words in English. Please do not take advantage of this policy: if a student is consistently failing spelling tests, a specific assignment for spelling homework will be given.

Suggestions:

• Write your words 5 times each.
• Write your words using crayons. Trace each word 3 times with different colors.
