Rob Lemire has been teaching at Pinkerton Academy since the 2013-14 academic year, where he teaches Technical Theatre and advises the Pinkerton Players Stage Crew, as well as teaches physics classes. He also is currently a co-advisor of the Class of 2020. He graduated from Saint Anselm College with a B.A. in Applied Physics, where he served two years as the Set Director to the Anselmian Abbey Players, and earned an M.A. in Theatre Education from Emerson College. He has also completed the USITT Jay O. Glerum Rigging Safety Masterclass.
Since 2010, he has worked with several community and educational theatre groups in the Boston and Southern New Hampshire areas, including designing and building sets for the Derryfield Repertory Theatre. Recently, he has primarily worked with the Pinkerton Players, supervising the Stage Crew through the main stage productions, as well as the NHETG Drama Festival production.
His passion is to provide students a place where they are producing professional-quality theatre, while still feeling safe enough to participate in the learning process. He believes that students learn best when they can apply their skills to real-life situations through actual theatre production.
