Allan Hall has been teaching art for 31 years at Pinkerton Academy. After graduating with a bachelor’s degree from Plymouth State University, Allan taught for 2 years in Concord NH before leaving to teach at Pinkerton Academy. For the past 12 years, Allan has been a part-time teacher at Pinkerton, which has allowed him time to also focus on his career as a professional artist.
Allan is a successful artist whose oil paintings are sold in numerous art galleries and are collected worldwide. Allan has been featured in numerous exhibitions and juried shows. His paintings have won numerous awards from the Currier Museum in Manchester, NH, as well as The Copley Society of Boston, MA. Allan’s paintings were also featured in the Art Collector Magazine. He was hired by Yankee Magazine to paint several murals for the National Trust for Historical Preservation.
Allan has a true passion and love of oil painting and all aspects of fine art. His daily goal while teaching is to engage with the students and share his vast experience of the arts that he has gained both inside and outside of the classroom.
