"Service Learning Sewing Club" for 2nd & 3rd grade students. The seats filled up quickly but we will have more of these opportunities next year !Â

Students did an amazing job during our last Sewing Club class. Since they worked so hard completing 10 dog blankets to donate, they were able to make a project for themselves. They either made a drawstring pouch for their treasures, or a tic-tac-toe game bag to use for their summer fun activities.Â
Monday, May 15th Class
We finished 10 dog blankets that will be donated to dog shelters---All students did an amazing job sewing these blankets. A BIG thank you goes out to our volunteers!!

We had our first Service-Learning-Sewing-Club class 5/8/23. Students were introduced to the sewing machine, safety, importance of "serving others", and had lots of fun socializing!
A BIG thank you to our volunteers-we have two more classes (May 15 & 22) and would love to have YOUR help as well!
Monday May 15th we will be sewing the dog blankets for shelters.
