Poems for Two Voices
Young Writers' Institute 2019
Poems for Two Voices
Digital Writing Activity
The writers chose topics that could be compared and contrasted. Each writer wrote an individual poem from the point of view of their topic. The writers then came together to create a single two voice poem by rearranging and revising their original poems and finding places where ideas could intersect.
After the two voice poems were written the students created a PowerPoint presentation to add images to visualize their poem. The writers recorded the presentation with narration and these were exported as movies.
Please note that given the time constraints these two voice poems are works in progress.
