It may have been done without an art room, socially distanced, with no sharing of supplies or virtually from home- but artists are AMAZING problem solvers and we were able to grow as young artists no matter what challenges we were faced with! Because we are STRONG, we are RESILENT and we are AMAZING!

In second and third grade students ventured outdoors to learn from nature! We were inspired by modern day artist- Andy Goldworthy, who teaches patience through art and capitalizes on recognizing beauty and details in his surroundings. He is fully inspired by nature- and we were lucky to be inspired by BOTH! Here is a video with a selection of students at Hance Elementary working hard.
