Think Tank
@ EHUE Library
Focused on learning for every student, every day.
Focused on learning for every student, every day.
We demonstrate safety by using tools and materials appropriately and with supervision. We receive safety training before using tools and materials. We only work in the Think Tank when an adult is present in the space. Student safety is the highest priority in our Think Tank.
We demonstrate motivation by reducing, reusing and recycling. We reduce waste by having a plan and using only the materials that we need. We reuse Think Tank materials when we can. When we decide it's time to discard something we take the extra step to deconstruct and sort materials so that they can be placed in the appropriate bin.
We demonstrate respect and accountablility by returning tools and unused materials to the spaces and places where they belong. There is a place for everything and everything should be returned to it's place at the end of class. Tools should be returned to thier storage areas. Material bins should have lids firmly in place and should be stored in their places. Before leaving the Think Tank we make sure that the table bin has all the tools, the table tops are cleared (or set for the next group) and the floors around our area are clean.
The Think Tank is OPEN during the Day:
For Classroom Use:
