Trout in the Classroom

Eden Hall Upper Elementary

Since 2016, students in fifth grade at Eden Hall have been provided with the opportunity to participate in the Pennsylvania Trout in the Classroom (TIC) program. TIC is an interdisciplinary program that introduces coldwater conservation education in schools by raising brook trout, a native coldwater species, from eggs to fingerlings.

Thanks to ongoing funding from the Eden Hall PTO as well as equipment and supplies donated by Spectrum Brands - Pet, Home and Garden, we are able to bring this wonderful program to our 5th graders each year.
