Frank Belette is an 12th grade student at Pine Crest School in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. His research was conducted in the Northwestern University, Feinberg School of Medicine, SOAAR research laboratory. He was inspired to perform his research after deciding to learn more about his tree nut, peanut, sesame seed, and oat allergies. He wishes to empower himself and others with food allergies through his research. In the Fall of 2020, Frank will attend Vanderbilt University and plans to major in economics.
