Dynamics are the LOUDS and SOFTS of music. Pre-K students may have explored dynamics in many lessons, and have reacted to the changes in dynamics as explained on the Parent Page, Page 2.

On the front page, your child should tell you if each thing is LOUD or SOFT, so that you can write their answer under the picture.

Included are some familiar Pre-K songs that your children may already know to go a long with this activity too: Loud and Quiet Sounds, Vivaldi Symphony, and Play the Instruments Quickly.

A sheet is included that you can print out for your child to DRAW something that is LOUD or QUIET. Ask them to explain WHY it is LOUD or QUIET. You could print the page out twice, and have them draw something that is the opposite of what they have just drawn.
