The Pimlico Rural Volunteer Fire Department was founded in 1975 by members of the Pimlico community who wanted there own Fire Service with that they opened Station 1 which is located on Pimlico Blvd, since that time the fire industry has evolved and the District has grown bigger which brought the needs for Station 2 which is located on Old Hwy 52. The Department is made up of 24 dedicated volunteers who have a passion for what they do and love helping their community. Apply today to make a difference in your community.
POSSIBLE APPLICANT DISQUALIFIERS
The following events may disqualify an applicant from becoming a member of the Pimlico Rural Volunteer Fire Department
• Having previously been terminated from the Pimlico Rural Volunteer Fire Department.
• Having been convicted of a misdemeanor offense, other than a minor traffic offense.
AUTOMATIC APPLICANT DISQUALIFIERS
Any of the following events will automatically disqualify an applicant from membership:
• Having failed to complete high school or earned a GED. Those still in school or in a GED program may still join, however if the member does not complete the program, he or she will be terminated from the department.
• Having a conviction for, or currently being under indictment for, or currently charged with any felony offense.
• Currently serving or having served probation or community supervision for any felony offense.
• Illegal use of any controlled substance or use of any illegal drug.
