Mentorship

Hello everyone, my name is Ellissa. I am a proud 2024 graduate of the University of Arizona, currently on the pre-med track with the goal of applying to medical school. My ultimate aspiration is to become a child and adolescent psychiatrist, which is driven by a deep passion for supporting the mental health and well-being of young people. Being part of the TRiO team is an incredible privilege for me, as it empowers me to guide and inspire others in my community to pursue higher education. Through this program, I’m committed to helping students realize their dreams, whether they’re aiming high or taking their first steps towards a brighter future. When I’m not preoccupied with school or volunteering, I love to unwind by hanging out with friends, crocheting, playing video games, collecting vinyls, and getting lost in a good book.
