POEC is our annual conference for educators, staff, and students across all modalities (online, hybrid, virtual, or face-to-face).  It aims to lift up emerging, innovative practices and key considerations connected with web-enhanced or online teaching, design, and student support. At POEC25, expect to Connect, Play, Share, and Explore together with colleagues as we learn through more than 40 expert presentations on a range of topics as well and interactive, fun-filled virtual experiences.

This year’s PimaOnline Educators’ Conference theme, Ctrl+Alt+Connect: Reimagining Our Connection in a Digital World, invites us as educators to reflect on and reimagine how we build meaningful connections both online and in-person through technology-enhanced teaching and learning. As an HSI with nearly half of our enrollments online, we are uniquely positioned to explore the intersections of equity, community, and innovation in digital learning. The theme highlights how we can create, adapt, and strengthen connections - with students, colleagues, and ideas - through thoughtful use of digital tools and pedagogical practices that support belonging and student success in our ever-evolving educational landscape.

The design of the PimaOnline Educators' Conference has been recognized by two national/global awards: the D2L Excellence Award and the Online Learning Consortium (OLC) Accelerate Award.  To learn more, visit our conference archives page.
