Company History

Pilot Industries Limited was started by the visionary Shri Dwarka Prasad Agarwal (Chairman) at a young age after completing his graduation from Kolkata, in the year 1969. He Started his career as a trader in Battery’s Components & Raw Material, with an ambition to provide best products and service to the battery industry in India. With new ideas and modernisation, his two sons Mr. Sanjeev Aggarwal (M.D) & Mr. Sandeep Aggarwal, (E.M.D) brought professionalism in Pilot Group which has facilitated Pilot Group to attain greater heights, today it’s one of the most dynamic, futuristic and leading business house in India.

Ever since its inception it has been committed to pursue continuous improvement and expansion, realising the fact that constant technological up-gradation is the key for staying ahead in the competition and attain phenomenal success. Being apace and ahead of contemporary requirements, our advanced manufacturing system is supported and monitored by well equipped Lab, R&D Wing and highly qualified and experienced staff keenly adhered to internationally prescribed procedure for Quality Control.

Pilot Industries Limited, formerly known as Pilot Batteries Industries, now enters 50th year of its establishment, it was established by Shri Dwarka Prasad Agarwal on 18th August 1969 at Gokhle Market, New Delhi. It was bestowed with gold medal in 1984-85 from Trans World Trade Fair under his visionary leadership, and appreciation from the President of India Late Shri Giyani Jail Singh.

The corporate office is located at New Delhi and the factory at Pant Nagar (Uttrakhand) with its state-of-the-art plant & with all the modern machinery is must-visit-a-place. Pilot Industries has diversified and expanded its reach under the tutelage of its dynamic entrepreneur Shri D.P. Agarwal and his sons Mr. Sanjeev Aggarwal and Mr. Sandeep Aggarwal who have been equally contributing with tireless efforts. The company has seen many ups and downs in its 50th years-long journey, Pilot has flawlessly piloted it with sheer patience & perspiration.
