*Train all staff in safety and sanitizing procedures

*If a student or staff member is exposed to COVID they will not need to quarantine unless they have symptoms (should test 3-5 days after exposure)
*Individuals should quarantine if they test positive with COVID. They may return to school/work after 5 days if no symptoms.

Practice safe social distancing to the greatest extent possible

Post signage and provide lessons to encourage frequent hand washing and hygiene practices

Ensure hand sanitizer is available throughout the campus

Increase cleaning protocols throughout each school, including replacing air filters more frequently and cleaning high touch areas multiple times throughout the day
*Keep heating/cooling systems on when possible to circulate the air

Use of electrostatic sprayers by custodial staff for sanitation
*Recommend
staff and students wear a face-covering while on school buses and in school buildings, when the county is in Red/Orange
except for those exempt due to medical conditions or disabilities
*When possible develop schedules to reduce the number of student transitions.
Limit group gatherings

* Separate entrances and exits when possible to allow for more spacing of students
* Continued collaboration and consultation with local and state officials on all health and safety decisions
