In concert with the United Farm Workers, Cesar Chavez Foundation, and members of the State Legislature. The first ribbon cutting ceremony was held with farm labor leaders from throughout California. A second ceremony was held with the Asian community in honor of Larry Itliong’s historic contributions.

Statewide Youth Mariachi Competition
A groundbreaking competition that brings youth from around the State to compete in Sacramento, tour the Capitol, meet Mariachi Vargas, and win funds for their local program, Univision is a major sponsoring partner, along with the Latino Caucus of the Legislature.
