Coach Prather has been involved with Pickens cheerleading as an athlete and coach for over 7 years. She was a part of the first-ever competition team at PHS back in 2014. Coach Prather graduated from Kennesaw State University in 2019, where she was also a cheerleader during KSU's inaugural football season. After retiring from cheerleading, Coach Prather began coaching at Pickens Junior High from 2018-2020 where she won several local and national titles, including winning first place at Cheersport Nationals. During the pandemic, Coach Prather took a break from cheerleading to explore California with her husband, Ty. Since returning, The PHS Cheer program has taken over 7 1st place titles, 5th at State In Traditional Varsity Competition and 6th at our first ever Game Day State Championship.

Coach Shoffer has coached cheerleading in Pickens for over 10 years! She is truly an asset to our program and our designated "team mom." Coach Shoffer began her coaching journey at Pickens County Middle School in 2011for the football, competition and basketball teams. After growing the middle school program, she moved up to PHS to coach our JV program. Coach Shoffer has had the honor of coaching both of her daughters through our program and has been a huge part of our program's growth over the years. We love you Coach Shoffer! You are never allowed to retire! <3
Coach Deanna began her cheerleading career here in our very own Pickens Cheerleading program! After graduating In 2019, she is now continuing her education and cheerleading legacy at Reinhardt University where she is majoring in Early Childhood Education. We are so excited to welcome Coach D to our team this season!

Coach Kelsie is a product of Pickens County Schools and a PHS Cheerleading alumni. As a member of the PHS inaugural competition team In 2014, she is so excited to pour her love for cheerleading into the athletes of PJHS. When not in the gym, Coach Kelsie enjoys spending time with her 2 boys and husband, Jacob. We are so excited for this season!! Go Dragons!
