Kelly Posey
I'm very excited about all the things we have planned for the new JMS media center this year. I've been a media specialist with Pickens County Schools for 14 years. Before that, I worked in public libraries in the metro Atlanta area for 13 years. I earned my teaching certificate at the University of West Georgia. I also have a masters degree in Information and Library Studies from the University of Michigan. In addition to those degrees, I have a masters degree from the University of Michigan in music and a bachelor's degree in music from Converse College in South Carolina. I grew up in Cherokee County where I graduated from Cherokee high school. I love to read just about any kind of book and I love to share books with young people.
