FFA is an intra-curricular part of agricultural education. As a part of my classes, students have the ability to participate in FFA events as well. Some events include monthly FFA meetings, career development events, and leadership conventions. FFA is a great way to get involved, especially if you love agriculture, leadership, fun, or all of the above.

Here at Pickens County High School we have great participation in FFA. We participate in more than 10 career development events per year and we have a very active officer team. We also have many students that show different species of livestock including sheep, goats, pigs and beef heifers and steers. This school year we are looking to grow as a chapter and reach new heights so I am looking forward to meeting new students and seeing those that want to get involved!
