Born out of an obsession to source divine 100% arabica coffee and a burning desire to create a more sustainable environment, John and Onome set about their mission of bringing General Warfield's Coffee out of an obsession to source divine 100% arabica coffee and a burning desire to create a more sustainable environment, John and Onome set about their mission of bringing General Warfield’s Coffee to life on a trip to East Africa in January 2020. Bound by love but separated by borders and a pandemic, there have been many challenges to overcome, but nothing would get in the way of General Warfield’s Coffee finding its way to you.

The search for our specialty grade beans began by scouring exotic farm locations at high altitudes that take pride in their crop and their impact on the environment. Having discovered the responsibly-sourced beans that would be the foundation of our beautifully smooth coffee, we knew it was time to partner with a roaster that shared our vision and values. This led us to one of the premier small-batch artisan roasters in the world. As soon as the first sip touched our lips, we knew this was the coffee that would entice coffee drinkers the world over.
