- How to reach:
A link and a document appear below to help you reach IIT Madras. Please note that entry to IIT Madras is only through the main gate (on Sardar Patel Road), where you will need to register at the main gate security.
How-to-reach-IIT-Madras.pdf- Venue:
All talks will be held in Seminar Hall (HSB 209), located on the first floor of the building housing the Physics Department. This building is also referred to as the Central Lecture Theatre (CLT) or the Humanities and Science Block (HSB).
- Accommodation:
Your accommodation is arranged at one of the two guest houses on IIT Madras Campus - Taramani Guest House (TGH) & Bose-Einstein Guest House (BEGH). (Exact details will be communicated via email.) Kindly refer to the maps below for directions to the Venue from respective guest houses. Note also, that your breakfast and dinner are arranged at the guest house you are staying.
Important: Your accommodation is booked during 1-3 Feb, 2026. You will be able to check-in throughout the day on 1st Feb and check-out by 3rd evening/night. We request you to plan your travel accordingly.
- Lunch
Lunch on Feb 2 and 3 for all registered participants is arranged at the Faculty Lounge in the Campus Cafe. Kindly refer to the maps below for directions to the Faculty Lounge from the Venue.
- Coference Dinner
Conference dinner is arranged at Seasonal Taste, Westin Velachery (Chennai) (website) 7PM onwards on Feb 2, 2026. Kindly refer to the map below for directions to Westin from the Taramani Guest House. Most of the walk is through campus and thus should be pleasant. Alternatively, you can also take the (free) blue bus service in campus from TGH (towards main gate) and get down at the Velachery Gate and then walk to Westin which is just a coluple of minutes walk from the Velachery Gate.
