Written by Bruce Oka, ADLC's Lesson Plans cover the Alberta curriculum for grades 1-9 in Science, Social Studies, and Health. These plans were written to assist teachers in Hutterite Colony schools but are used by teachers in regular classrooms and by homeschool families as well. Teachers in a colony school have multi-graded classes, with students that are ESL and are immersed in Hutterite culture. To assist teachers in these settings, the plans are designed to be efficient, allowing the teacher to manage up to nine grade levels at once.
