When asking your student to submit something from their google drive, to Canvas, have them use the "Google Doc" tab, and none of the other options
You can still have students upload files from their Chromebook, but it isn't as common
If you want your student to share a video with you on an assignment, whether that's a screencastify, or something else they've created, have them put the shareable link in their assignment, rather than embed the video. This avoids access problems.
