CHEMOWARRIOR: the eli sidler foundation

CHEMOWARRIOR: the eli sidler foundation was created to honor the life of Eli and others who are battling or who have lost their battles with Ewing Sarcoma. Eli passed away in 2012 at the age of 16 after battling for 8 years. New and more effective treatments are needed to fight aggressive childhood cancers. Since the foundation started in 2014, CHEMOWARRIOR has raised more than $250,000 for research in Eli’s memory.

Why is September Important?

Childhood cancer is the leading cause of death from disease in children under the age of 15. While researchers are making great progress, childhood cancer research is consistently underfunded. Less than 4% of the federal budget for cancer research is dedicated to childhood cancer. More funding is crucial for creating a future without childhood cancer.
