My name is Lissa Rudisill and I am the school counselor at Arts Academy at Benjamin Rush! I am very excited to be working with high school students and support them in their academic journey.
My goal is to provide a comprehensive system of supports addressing academic, social/emotional, and career development to every student at Benjamin Rush.

During this event, student will be exposed to the construction industry, join local contractors, construction management firms and union trades to obtain exposure in construction careers. On this day, HS attendees will network with industry representatives through hands on technical demonstrations, apprenticeship/employment resources, interview preparation and more; specific to 11th and 12th graders. Students will leave with a better understanding of post graduation opportunities, application processes, test requirements and acquire PPE/ tools to make informed decisions upon graduation to begin their career in the construction industry.

Akil Bello will be delivering the keynote address, while Ayana Lewis and Jennifer Kebea will be moderating sessions.
