Assessments are a way that we, as a school and classrooms, can make sure that students are making the appropriate amount of progress toward the grade level goals. Additionally, assessment data allows for teachers and administrators to make sure that each student is receiving instruction on a level that will allow them to be successful.

This year, we will bookend our assessments, meaning that we will take both AIMSweb and STAR assessments in the beginning of each instructional quarter. This assessment will yield data that tell us where students "are" instructionally. Then we will end each semester with our ANET assessment which will tell us how much progress students have made toward or above grade level skills.
